Whilst working as Arc’s Graphic Design Intern, I co-led a major event promoting sustainable living to UNSW students. The problem this project addressed was a widespread disengagement in sustainable practices across UNSW students. Myself and a team of interns devised a one day event, and accompanying online resources to educate and excite our student audience. I led the event’s creative direction, from pitching my ideas to the development of the final visual identity. Keeping sustainability at the forefront, many of the deliverables in this project were created using sustainable processes and techniques. For example, the logo design is created from the manipulation of rubbish that I collected and collaged into letters, and team shirts were made with linocut stamps, and recycled tees.
