Making Art, Making Politics is a first of its kind residency that involved a Danish political party visiting a Canadian university. It focus was to use urban spaces, vacancy and approaches to event based learning as a vehicle to explore art and political decision making. As this residency was largely comprised of experiential learning, there was difficulty figuring out how to best document the event. To present the process and outcomes that came from such a unique program, I collaborated with three students from Concordia University to create a zine that documented the residency. We chose to use a Risograph printer to create the zine, whilst using co-design and artefact collection approaches for content creation. Our publication was presented at FARR Art Book Symposium’s Zine Fair in Montreal.
