UNSWeetened is UNSW’s annual student published journal exhibiting the creative writing of current students. In 2018 I led the creative direction and graphic design, whilst working collaboratively with a diverse range of editors, illustrators, and writers. In developing the visual identity for 2018's edition of UNSWeetened, I had to work within the limitation of deciding on a two colour palette. I decided to choose yellow and black, two very contrasting colours that would give me lots of space to create strikingly different experiences throughout the book, as its contents were filled with different themes from different authors.
